- Genshin Impact's Version 6.0 Chronicled Banner will feature 6 limited characters from the region of Sumeru
- The banner will feature Sumeru only 4-Star characters as well as Sumeru weapons
- The weapon banner and it's pity system works the same as the character banner, with 90 Wishes to get a 5-Star Weapon
Genshin Impact Version 6.0 has introduced a Chronicled Wish Banner in Phase 1, which has gone live on the 10th of September, 2025, and will be running until the 30th of September, 2025. The Version 6.0 Chronicled Banner will feature 5-star characters from the region Sumeru.
Genshin Impact Version 6.0 Chronicled Banner Details
During the “Roving Chalice of Dewgrass” Event Wish, you can freely select and set a course for your preferred 5-star character. The Event exclusive 5-star characters available are:
- Dehya (Pyro/Claymore)
- Alhaitham (Dendro/Sword)
- Wanderer (Anemo/Catalyst)
- Cyno (Electro/Polearm)
- Nilou (Hydro/Sword)
- Tighnari (Dendro/Bow)
If players lose the 50/50, they will obtain any of the rate-up characters that isn’t the character they selected. Let’s explain with an example: Suppose you set your course to Cyno. If you lose the 50/50, you will get any of the other rate-up characters or weapons except Cyno.
But you do accumulate 1 Fate point. With that point, your next 5-Star will be a guaranteed Cyno. Keep in mind that Fate Points do not carry over. Additionally, only Sumeru 4-star characters can be obtained in the banners.
Genshin Impact Version 6.0 Chronicled Banner: Who Should You Pull
1. Nilou
Nilou is the real highlight of this banner. Meta-wise, she’s really the only character worth considering, but even then, she’s not a must-pull. Her value comes almost entirely from Lauma synergy; without Lauma, Nilou teams just aren’t that strong.
For AoE content, Burgeon teams are nearly as effective, and for things like Stygian Onslaught, clears have been done with mostly four-star teams, making her non-essential. Her constellations are mostly underwhelming; only C2 is really meaningful, and now that she’s on the constellation selector, her effective kit is basically C1, making additional constellations mostly worthless.

Nilou doesn’t drastically improve your account, especially since other upcoming units are likely to outclass her eventually. So, if you like Nilou, she’s fine to pull, but from a meta standpoint, she’s far from necessary.
2. Alhaitham
Alhaitham is a weird case. He’s not terrible, but he’s definitely not great right now. His damage numbers are better than some standard characters, but he’s held back by a lack of Quicken team support, since Dendro supports have been sparse.

Lauma was basically the first real support that helped him shine a little, though her kit isn’t even designed for Quicken; it just works well enough because of her shred effect. He might see more use in the future, but for now, he’s okay.
3. Cyno
Cyno is an interesting case. His design has always been Dendro-focused, and with Lauma and previously Ineffa, Dendro teams have received a noticeable buff, making him not bad at all.

That said, he’s not necessarily the one carrying the team; you could swap him for some other Electro uni and achieve similar results, but his kit actually fits Dendro teams. So while he’s not a must-pull on the Chronicle Wish in 2025, if you like Cyno, he’s a solid choice for Dendro team synergy.
4. Dehya
Dehya is honestly pretty underwhelming. Even at C6, her damage is weak, and while she’s received some team support since release, she still isn’t particularly strong. Offensively, her damage numbers are pathetic, C1 barely improves them, and her elemental application and Burgeon support are slow, sometimes too slow for certain rotations.

She can serve as a defensive utility option in a few teams, giving damage reduction and resistance to interruption, but her uptime is short, and the mitigation isn’t enough without additional shielding or healing, making her defensive role limited.
She’s usable in niche situations, but definitely not worth chasing on the Chronicle Wish. That said, if you lose a 50/50 to her, it’s not the worst thing. Her C2 does give slightly better uptime, and her defensive utility can be somewhat helpful in the right team.
5. Tighnari
Tighnari is one of those overestimated characters who really doesn’t do much damage; even in teams built for him, he’s barely contributing more than 30% of DPS, and his split scaling (all ATK-based, with only an indirect EM buff) just isn’t strong enough to carry.

He was balanced back in early Sumeru when team ceilings were lower, and as a standard character, you can just pick him up over time through 50/50 losses or the constellation selector, so there’s really no reason to waste primos on him.
His constellations are mediocre until C6, which only makes him “okay” at best, about equal to running an off-field Dendro carry. His weapon is decent since it finally gives him EM scaling, but it’s not a huge upgrade if you already have another 5-star bow, and the Sumeru signature weapons overall were kind of mid. Honestly? Skip him on the Chronicled Wish unless you just really like him.
6. Wanderer
Wanderer is basically unusable as a carry. His team DPS on carry-focused teams is pathetic. Sure, he can be wheelchaired with the correct supports and artifacts, and those teams do more damage than his own carry setups, but the reality is that he’s never been strong and has received almost no meaningful support since release.

With power creep leaving him in the dust, he’s even less useful than 4-Stars. If you like Wanderer, you’re basically praying for a miracle, hoping future characters or updates somehow make carries viable again. Otherwise, he’s just not worth investing in.
Is the Chronicled Banner worth it
Overall, this Chronicle Wish banner is actually not terrible compared to past ones, mostly thanks to Nilou, who is the only character with real meta relevance. For players who like her and want to run Nilou teams, there’s a reason to pull, though her effectiveness is heavily dependent on Lauma.
Without her, Nilou teams aren’t great, and future power creep or single-target Bloom content could leave her less useful. Most of the other characters in the banner are largely niche or underwhelming, and you probably won’t level them unless you really like them.
From a meta perspective, it’s not bad for a Chronicle Wish, but it’s still a Chronicle Wish, so temper expectations, pull if you like Nilou, otherwise it’s fine to skip. Check our other articles on Genshin Impact:
