Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Developer’s Note February 2024 overview
New story content: Special Story
One of the most anticipated updates, and one that I was particularly looking forward to, is the introduction of the Special Story. This fully-voiced content is intended to provide players with high-quality scenarios in a more engaging format. The best part, in my opinion, is that you will no longer have to jump through hoops to get to it. Whether you’re a new or experienced player, you can enjoy the Special Story at your own pace without worrying about completing difficult battles.
Improved Gameplay
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is also working to improve the gameplay experience. One significant improvement is tweaks to the difficulty of Field Lost Relics Investigation. Soon, you will receive notifications when your squad is near Lost Relics, streamlining the experience and reducing confusion, which will greatly benefit both beginners and avid Nikke players like myself.
Simulation Room Overclock
The beta season for Simulation Room Overclock has ended, but do not worry! NIKKE is already preparing for the second beta season based on valuable player feedback, which I am very excited to participate in again because the new Simulation Room Overclock was more challenging and faster to complete. In addition, to compensate for any communication problems they are launching special events to keep players engaged and rewarded.
Convenience Upgrades
Get ready for some quality-of-life improvements! NIKKE is making it easier than ever to grow your Nikkes with improvements to the Simple Inventory feature, which will greatly simplify leveling up and forming a team for new players. Plus, the feature I’m most excited about is the introduction of a separate testing environment for squad combinations in the Union Shooting Range, giving us more freedom to experiment and create new team compositions.
Exciting New Events
Mark your calendars for the PERFECT MAID event, which kicks off in February. With new characters and stories to discover, it’s sure to be a memorable Valentine’s Day, with our beloved Nikke Privaty getting a new maid version, Drake getting a new maid costume, and the introduction of a new SSR-Nikke Ade. Also, don’t forget about the Skill Reset event and the introduction of the Crystal Chamber boss in Solo Raid, which I’m ready to face off against.
