Level Infinite has announced that the mobile sci-fi RPG shooter, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, will host a limited-time crossover event with the iconic anime series, Evangelion. The collaboration will bring new themed events, characters, outfits, and more to the game, which I will discuss in this article.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE x Evangelion collaboration will be evergreen characters from the hit anime
Evangelion is a renowned Japanese mecha-anime series set in a post-apocalyptic world and follows a group of teenagers piloting giant mechs, known as Evangelions, to protect humanity from mysterious beings called Angels. Previously, the franchise has had active collaborations with open-world MMORPG Tower of Fantasy, with a recent collab being on March 12, 2024.
As part of the collaboration, beloved Evangelion characters such as Asuka, Rei, Mari, and Misato will make their appearance in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. There is also a giveaway event planned for all the players, for which you can check the details on the game’s official X platform, where they have shared the necessary details.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE has been actively participating in brand collaboration events over the past few months. Recently, apart from the DAVE THE DIVER collab, there have been collaborations with Re:ZERO, another popular anime franchise, alongside Chainsaw Man and NieR:Automata.
The collaboration will be kicking off on 22nd August 2024. More details are to be revealed in the coming weeks, so you can look forward to exclusive content arriving at NIKKE that celebrates the Evangelion universe in the game, offering a unique experience for fans of both franchises.
