Zynga Inc. today announced the release of a new update to the Magical Creatures feature in its match-3 puzzle mobile game, Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells.
This update reimagines the popular Creature mechanics for an even more engaging experience. Players’ suggestions are taken into account in the latest feature update to make the unlocks magical creatures more efficient at solving puzzles. Most importantly, as you play more, Creatures now offer more Rewards and brand-new tiers of perks.
Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells put Magical Creatures in the spotlight with the new update
With the new Creature Points that come from Star, Crystal, and Gold Chests, the Magical Creatures feature—which is available after solving Puzzle 24—offers a better way to acquire creatures. Players receive Stars for solving puzzles, and these Stars unlock Star Chests, which contain Common and Rare Creatures.
Players at Level 90 and up receive Creature Crystals after solving a new puzzle the first time, which opens Crystal Chests containing highly sought-after Rare and Epic Creatures. Gold Coins collected in the game may also be used to unlock Rare and Epic Creatures from Gold Chests.

After acquiring Magical Creatures, players can level them up for stronger abilities and gain additional assistance in solving puzzles with each Win Streak Power-up, Epic Boost, or Blast Radius board clear.
