Vizta Games, a subsidiary of MOONTON Games has announced the soft launch their latest vertical roguelike strategy title, HERMIT CRAB GO!, now available on Android in Canada and Japan. There is no information yet on iOS or global launch.
Build a team of quirky characters to battle unique enemies across Siphonia
Following the success of ACECRAFT, MOONTON Games has now introduced HERMIT CRAB GO!, a vertical roguelike experience with a familiar charm. This time instead of an Ace Pilot, you step in as Ace Captain, teaming up with Miss Aelita to create havoc with your Crewmates across Siphonia.
I personally like the classic rubber hose art style and the retro cartoon vibe which reminds me of ACECRAFT. And I’m sure it’ll be fun to form a squad of quirky, hand-drawn Crewmates like a lazy squirrel, a grumpy crow, and more. Oh, you can also upgrade them, equip Gear, and stack buffs to tackle waves of enemies.
Lately, I’ve tried to stay away from idle titles, but this one looks worth’s trying in my opinion. I mean it sure as hell satisfying to strategize and then switch to Spectator mode to witness the chaos. Overall, it has solid potential to pop off like ACECRAFT, thanks to its vintage cartoon art, endless stages, unique enemies, and more.
HERMIT CRAB GO! is now available in soft launch on Android in Canada and Japan. So, if you’re interested, you can download the game via the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, stay tuned in this space for more updates regarding iOS or global launch.
