While no gameplay footage of Fu Xuan has been released yet, leaked details have unveiled her Skill and abilities, offering players a glimpse into how she may play when she comes to the game in the future. In this Honkai: Star Rail Fu Xuan Abilities and Gameplay leaks, players will know more about the overall skill set of Fu Xuan.

Who is Fu Xuan in Honkai Star Rail

Players get to meet her for the first time during the Trailblazer Main Quest. Fu Xuan holds the position of Master Diviner in the Divination Commission of the Xianzhou Alliance. She is also one of the Six Charioteers of Xianzhou Luofu. Her role involves overseeing the route of Xianzhou Luofu through calculations and predicting future events.

As a Quantum-type element, Fu Xuan is likely to possess abilities related to manipulating space and time, offering players a distinctive play style. As we can see from her scene during the Trailblazer Main quest, she has featured a unique ability where she can read the future and somewhat be able to control time. Fu Xuan utilizes her third eye and the Matrix of Prescience to chart the course of Xianzhou and predict the outcomes of future events.

Fu Xuan’s Abilities

As the first-ever Quantum-type character under the Path of Preservation, Fu Xuan is expected to deliver amazing gameplay features. Her rare element makes her abilities a valuable choice and an amazing pair for the current exceptional Quantum units in the game, Seele and Silver Wolf. Fu Xuan’s abilities provide amazing defensive value to the overall team with good scaling from her overall HP and DEF.

She is a very strong Preservation character based on her overall abilities and can easily fill the role of defensive support in a team alone. Her different skill set features Effect RES increase for the team, providing a shield, and decreasing the overall DMG received by the party.

Basic Attack

Deals a % of Fu Xuan’s ATK as Quantum DMG to a target enemy. Fu Xuan’s basic attack is similar to most characters in the game where they deal damage according to their element to a single enemy.

Skill

Fu Xuan’s skill triggers the activation of the Poor View Formation effect and Appraisal.

  • Poor View Formation: As long as all party members are alive, the damage suffered by allies is reduced by a certain percentage. Up to 4 allies can benefit from this effect. Fu Xuan mitigates a certain percentage of the damage taken by party members other than herself. The effect remains active for 3 turns.
  • Appraisal: When the Poor View Formation effect is active and Fu Xuan receives damage, she gains 1 stack of Appraisal. Each stack of Appraisal increases Fu Xuan’s Max HP by a certain percentage, lasting for 2 turns. This effect can stack up to a certain number of times.

Fu Xuan’s skill is very important and plays a crucial role in her overall function at a party. It reduces the DMG dealt to allies and increases her overall HP which lets her tank more damage for the overall party.

Ultimate

Fu Xuan inflicts Quantum damage to all enemies, dealing a percentage of her ATK as damage. Additionally, she deals extra Quantum damage based on a percentage of her Max HP. This skill also resets the count of times Fu Xuan’s Talent has been activated.

The Ultimate ability of Fu Xuan gains a portion of DMG from her ATK and HP, which means this will deal a decent amount of DMG if Fu Xuan is built with hybrid stats and with good relics set effects.

Talent

When Fu Xuan is actively participating in battle, she bestows the Avoid Misfortune effect upon all party members. This effect reduces the damage they receive by a certain percentage. Fu Xuan herself also gains a Damage Bonus based on the amount of HP she has lost. For each percentage of her Max HP lost, her own damage increases by a certain percentage. However, this Damage Bonus will not exceed a specified limit.

Furthermore, if Fu Xuan’s current HP falls equal to or below a certain percentage of her Max HP, she can replenish her HP by exchanging the percentage of her Max HP lost with the corresponding percentage of her current HP. This can only trigger once.

Technique

After Fu Xuan utilizes her technique, all party members receive a shield that completely blocks enemy attacks, preventing the party from entering battle for a certain number of seconds. In the subsequent battle, at the start, all party members enjoy an increase in DEF based on a percentage of Fu Xuan’s DEF. This effect remains active for a certain number of rounds.

Final Thoughts

Fu Xuan offers so much defensive value in the table for any type of team. She is expected to be an extremely flexible preservation unit mainly of her Element and abilities. Fu Xuan is also the first Preservation-type character that will scale mainly from HP offering players new theory-crafting opportunities when she releases in the future.

It is important to note that this information and abilities are subject to change and players should always take it with a grain of salt. It is expected that Fu Xuan will release version 1.3 along with Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, but no information about it from HoYoverse has been officially confirmed.
