Genshin Impact has amassed a huge amount of following and has an ever-increasing community due to the constant updates it pushes out and the tons of new events one after the other. This time, a new event has opened up for expectant student travelers across the United Kingdom. The Genshin Impact University Invitational UK hosted by GinxTV has officially opened for registration.
The invitational is open for, as we said earlier, all student Genshin Players living in the United Kingdom. Teams of three with a captain and two teammates will face a barrage of in-game quests and challenges. The final challenge will be broadcasted live from London. The invitational is said to have a prize pool as big as £11,000 GBP.
Genshin Impact University Invitational UK: Tournament Schedule
The invitational has collaborated with gaming societies from nine different universities, but it is nevertheless open for all UK students to sign up. There will be three stages, with the first one being registration and selection. That would be held online. Registrations started today on the 9th of May and end on the 16th of May at 00:00 UTC. Regular users will be given the chance to vote on which teams qualify for the tournament.
The second stage, the qualifiers, will be held at Local University Divisions from the 16th to the 20th of May. The third stage will be the Finals, which will be hosted Live in London on the 28th of May. Players who wish to sign up can go to the official Genshin Impact Invitational UK website.
How to Register for the Genshin Impact University Invitational UK
Players can register as teams, which consist of 1 captain and 2 members. The decided captain can finish the registration process. All team members should be at least 18 years of age and either studying in the UK or graduated from there. There can be only one alumni player in each team that will be participating and the remaining two must be current students of their institutions.
Registration Checks
When a team’s application materials are submitted, they will be reviewed regularly by the staff and upon approval, the team would be put on the voting list. In case your team is not approved, revise the information and submit the application again.
Division Selection
If there are students from both University A and B, they can choose either Division A or Division b. In case members don’t belong to any of the 9 universities, they may register in the Social Team Division.

Voting Rules
Each person with a unique IP address can vote at most once per day for a team. The eligibility to vote each day will be renewed at 03:00 UTC. These votes will decide which teams move on to the qualifiers and the final. The good news for social teams is that the tournament officials will cover their travel expenditures for the duration of the event.
Voting points for different stages are:
- Stage 1: 9 May – 16 May, each vote is worth one point, and you can vote for any team.
- Stage 2: 20 May – 28 May, each vote is worth three points, and you can only vote for the 10 finalists.
The team that is voted first place out of the final 10 teams will be rewarded with an additional prize. Polls close after the final and points for Stages 1 and 2 will be accumulated. Not only this, 52 lucky supporters will obtain 100 Primogems each (only if they have a Genshin Account). There will be other enticing awards apart from the main £11,000 prize as well.
