BorderLeap, known for its Puzzle games, has announced its upcoming title Illustrated, which will be coming to Apple Arcade this Friday, January 13, 2023. The game will also feature hundreds of amazing illustrations by talented artists from around the world, while also visually treating the players with the masterpieces by Vincent Van Gogh, taken specifically from the Van Gogh Museum.
Illustrated will tell a beautiful story behind each work of art
Every picture has a story to tell, and Illustrated will aim to do exactly that. A painting describes the feeling of relaxation whenever we look at it, and thus gives a soothing experience. Illustrated is such a game, where each puzzle you solve completes an illustration of the utmost pleasant scene.
Each puzzle begins with an illustration presented as an early concept sketch which is combined with the hidden words of the artist’s story behind the artwork. With no-fail routes incorporated, a soothing, chill soundtrack, and collaborative online multiplayer modes, Illustrated could be the perfect game for chilling out.
Each player’s objective is to understand the illustration and the story, where a combination of both will help in solving the puzzle. With every correctly-placed piece, the illustration is presented while the words of the story are slowly revealed. Upon completion, the masterpiece and story are presented together.
