- Infinity Nikki is the 5th title in the series.
- The game was first announced back in December 2022.
- Infinity Nikki is expected to launch toward the end of 2024.
Infinity Nikki, an open-world adventure from PaperGames, announces a global Closed Beta Test (CBT) at the opening night live of gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany. Besides, a new trailer is also showcased for the 5th addition to the Nikki series.
The title was first introduced in December 2022 and will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Android, and iOS devices. The latest addition to the Nikki series will also support cross-platform. Infinity Nikki recently announced another round of global closed beta testing at the Tokyo Game Show 2024, starting October 8th through October 22nd for PC, iOS, and Android, with details for a PlayStation 5 beta to be shared later.
Infinity Nikki is expected to launch in December 2024
The game named the CBT as Reunion Playtest. Both PC and Mobile platforms (Android and iOS) are open to receive the interested players. Though the opening date is confirmed, the game didn’t reveal any test duration. It will be announced at a later date. Player data and progress during the closed beta test will be wiped out when the test ends.
From the App Store listing of this upcoming title, the expected date is the 31st of December 2024. However, the developers didn’t confirm it to be the exact release date.
Infinity Nikki supports cross-platform but requires high-end devices
There are a few things that the game announces for the testers such as device switching, and cross-platform support. Though login access is bound to one device, the game supports cross-platform. In the same account, players continue their progress on both PC and Mobile.
Infinity Nikki also shared minimum system requirements for playing. It asked for SD888, Dimensity 8100 Max, or iPhone 11 which runs on A13 Bionic to enjoy the game. Thus, it looks like only high-end device owners can enjoy the game, limiting the player count during the playtest.
How to pre-register for the global closed beta test
As sign-up for the closed beta is open now, interested players can head to the Playtest Recruitment survey page to answer a questionnaire. Here’s how to do it:
- Go to the official Playtest Recruitment survey page, log in to the Infold Account, or create one if you have none.
- Answer the questionnaire with care as the game asks for intensive players only.
- Hit the submit button after entering the email address that you’ll use to log in to the game.
Besides, pre-registration is also going on in both Google Play Store and the App Store. Just head over to the respective stores and search for the game to complete the pre-registration.
The title features the expansive fantasy world of Miraland where Nikki and her adorable fluffy companion Momo advance by winning over several challenges. The executive producer and former Legend of Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga worked behind this beautiful title. While we wait for the title to be available globally after an official launch, pre-register now to get a hands-on experience.
