Just Cause Mobile is an upcoming action-Shooter game from the world-famous developers Square Enix. The game was initially announced by the Studio during the 2020 Game Awards and was slated to release in the latter half of 2021. But, due to the effect caused by the global pandemic, the developers announced today that the release of Just Cause Mobile would be further pushed back to 2022. Just Cause mobile is the first stand-alone version of the immensely popular game of the same name to arrive on both iOS and Android platforms.
Square Enix announced through their Twitter account that the release of the game would be further delayed by a year and is now scheduled to release in 2022. The tweet also included that the tough decision to extend the release was taken by the studio due to the adversity of the global pandemic on gaming studios.
They also added that the current working situation of all the employees from home has taken a huge toll on the production of the game causing further delays. They concluded by saying that further updates regarding the status of the game will be posted on their social media accounts.
Gameplay Overview
Just Cause Mobile is based on the popular Just Cause Series from the PC and Console platforms. The is an action-type shooter game set in the Just Cause Universe. The game will feature a full-fledged story campaign mode that can be finished in a solo or co-op mode (up to 4 players).
Apart from the regular story mode, the game will also feature a thirty-person (30) Competitive multiplayer. The gameplay mechanics are also expected to feature all common traits from the Just Cause universe like the Grappling Hook, Parachutes, Wingsuit, and its unique movement system.
