Almost 2 million new players have accessed King of Avalon since Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom joined the game as a new hero, according to FunPlus, one of the biggest independent mobile game developers in the world. In the King Arthur-inspired free-to-play mobile game, Bloom recently made his debut as a playable character. The game is currently available for download on iOS and Android. The Silver Clio Award for the launch trailer, which debuted Orlando Bloom as a playable character, was also recently recognized by FunPlus.
Players loved playing as Orlando Bloom in King of Avalon
Over 4 million players experienced Orlando Bloom’s epic storyline when it debuted in King of Avalon last July, and it has since become a part of the game’s mythology. The biggest update to the game to date, “Frost & Flame,” introduced a brand-new game mode called Tower Defense and an original American-comic graphic style in-game. Orlando left behind his legendary bow to take the Nightshard Blade created with Dragon’s blood to lead the citizens of Avalon to triumph.

More than 100 million copies of King of Avalon have been downloaded worldwide, making it a bestseller in close to 70 nations.
