A crossover event with EVANGELION will begin on October 13 in the open-world Doomsday survival game LifeAfter, developed and operated by NetEase Games. LifeAfter has been continuously updated with fresh material since the game was released in 2019.
In LifeAfter’s Doomsday World, Infected Angels and Evangelion Test Type-01 appear. Battle zombies with Evangelion Test Type-01, conquer the constrained crossover Stage, and defend the doomsday homeland. A player could dress up as one of the Children in an Evangelion character outfit and decorate an Entry Plug-style Manor.
Players can soak up all the Evangelion charm in the LifeAfter world, with the help of the more than 60 crossover items. These crossover items are only temporarily available. Players can visit the official website for more information.
LifeAfter x EVANGELION event to feature exciting crossover gameplay
There is a small stage in the crossover where the Infected Angel enters the Doomsday World and causes a new crisis. Four-person squads of survivors are sent to a mysterious abandoned building to locate a power source so they can recharge the weak Evangelion Test Type-01.
The survivors will meet up with the fully charged Evangelion Test Type-01 and battle the final Boss. The Final Boss has the abilities of several Angels and can generate A.T. Field, which requires a coordinated effort from the survivors to neutralize using a special weapon after they have successfully defeated the Infected Angels and started the two power devices. On October 13, defend our country in the Doomsday World by fighting alongside Evangelion Test Type-01.
Over 60 crossover items will be available for a limited time
Evangelion crossover items are only available from October 13 to October 27. Survivors can wear the plug suits of Shinji, Rei, Asuka, Kaworu, and Mari. In keeping with the Evangelion theme, additional unique character attire and pet skins are also available in the game.
Don’t miss out on the Evangelion Test Type-01 themed furniture for the Manor, including the wallpaper, ceiling, floor, door, lamp, table, bed, and chair. Using the crossover furniture, recreate iconic Evangelion scenes in the Doomsday World.
Additionally, there will be over 60 limited edition items available during the event, including a weapon, drone, car paint, and backpack in the style of a PenPen! They are all used to duplicate the EVANGELION charm in the Doomsday World.
