Mega Man X DiVE, the free-to-play action game via Capcom will shut down on September 27. The mobile versions distributed by NebulaJoy in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Korea will continue to render the services, just the Capcom Taiwan version will be taken down from servers on September 27th, 2023.
Capcom announced a detailed shutdown schedule for Mega Man X DiVE
Capcom has announced that the game will not be continuing its services post-September 2023. They have released an official statement containing the schedule for the shutdown. Capcom was also quick to thank players for their support throughout the journey that the game saw.
To acknowledge the support, developers have made sure that the final moments before the game’s shutdown are spent well by players in the game.
The game will be closing its operations and the following is the schedule that it will follow before finally shutting down its services.
- On June 7, 2023, the announcement of the game ending its services will be done followed by the removal of all the in-game purchases in the game. Google Play, Apple App Store, Mycard, Huawei AppGallery, and Steam platform stated will be affected
- On September 27, 2023, the game released by Capcom Taiwan will be taken down from the servers and will terminate its services.
The game will announce a date for the treatment of the remaining paid elements of the game in the future, for now, there is no information available on that matter.
Capcom thanks the players for their continued support throughout their journey
To celebrate the support since the game’s launch, the developers have made the following changes to the game:
- Daily logins will earn players Elemental Metal Supply Box and Dark Code Coin.
- Favorite Capsule introduced in the game. One free draw per day and you are guaranteed to get an S-rank character.
- 3 events will be held regularly. Redeemable weapons will no longer be rotated and popular items such as limited weapons will be added. Armaments Factory – Mission will be renewed every two weeks.
- Dark Code Store events will be held regularly.
- The Dark Code Coins that come with the Dark Code capsule will be increased significantly.
Post this, the game will finally shut down its servers forever from 27th September 2023.
