Minecraft brings the Avatar Legends DLC this December with special character skins

The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, now in Minecraft!

The Avatar Legends is now merging with the ever-so-popular blocky landscapes of Minecraft as The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are now being included in an upcoming DLC pack. This is made possible with an official collaboration with Minecraft, set to be uploaded to their marketplace on December 6. The DLC was announced by the official Minecraft Twitter account, much to the delight of both Minecraft and Avatar fans.

The Avatar Legends DLC will offer exciting in-game content in Minecraft

There are not too many details available yet. However, from what we can tell from the official, we’re getting at least four new skins. These skins are all themed after characters from the Avatar franchise, namely Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, and Korra. As is usual with these collaborations, we’ll likely see more in the DLC when it drops. However, the skins themselves make it worth it for the fans of the anime series, who’ll get to showcase their favorite elements.

We’ve seen quite a few such DLCs in the past, with some major examples bringing the Angry Birds and the Piggies, Sonic the Hedgehog, Ice Age, and very recently, the Soccer Celebration DLC, meant to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2022 to the game.

As usual, this one too will likely be a paid one, costing Minecoins. Those interested should mark out the 6th of December on their calendars, which is when the DLC will be made available on the Minecraft Marketplace. Avatar is nurturing the biggest and very rapidly expanding community so there’s no doubt that this will be an instant hit. Hopefully, the experience this provides is worth what players invest in.
