Minas Tirith in Minecraft: The capital city of Gondor from the Lord of the Rings

The capital city of Gondor, Minas Tirith was once called Minas Anor, before the fortress of Minas Ithil was conquered by the forces of Mordor. The original name of the tower means Tower of the Sun and Minas Tirith means Tower of the Guard. The intention of the name change was to clarify Gondor’s stand against the darkness after the fall of Minas Ithil.

Minecraft Player, Eagoid shared the post on Reddit, where the progress of the recreation can be seen. The perfect medieval landscape architecture can be seen on the post with a border of stone blocks that let us see through Minas Tirith. On the other hand, the massive fortress with a huge dome on top with a slightly darker green shade and a white pinch can blend perfectly with the nearby landscape. The dome has a decoration on top that is currently not fully visible because of the screenshot size.

Soon as the screenshot was live, Redditors took to debates and discussions where some appreciated the skills of the player, while others condemned him for using a mod to build the structure. Redditors accused Eagoid of using the Conquest Reforged mod – SEUS shaders to add a sense of detail and realism to this Minecraft build. Discussions also highlighted the necessary use of the Conquest Reforged mod to bring the medieval landscape texture to the build.
