Mobile Legends India unban: The real scenario regarding MLBB in India

Is MLBB back in India already?

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton is the most played MOBA game on mobile devices. Released in 2016, the game has managed to cross 100 million downloads. The game hosts international tournaments and is mainly popular in South East Asian countries. Back in June, the Indian Government banned the game due to a violation of the Privacy Policy and data theft. On July 1st, MLBB made an announcement over Twitter, Facebook, and also in-game regarding the ban. The ban message also mentioned that they will actively work with the Indian Government to uplift the ban. Right after the announcement, the servers closed and the apps were no more available in both Android and iOS app stores. In recent weeks, a lot of talks have been going on in the gaming community about the potential unban of Mobile Legends in India. In this article, we’ll talk about the real scenario regarding Mobile Legends unban in India.

The impact of Mobile Legends ban in India

A lot of streamers were left devastated due to the ban. Some streamers had made the streaming of this game as their main income source. Also, MLBB has a huge player base in India. Not only the Indians but also the popular pro streamers around the globe showed sympathy and wished that the game unbans soon enough.

With such an incident, a lot of people started making fake YouTube videos regarding the unban dates. Those videos attracted a lot of views which clearly showed how the players were impatient for the game to re-release.

The real scenario regarding Mobile Legends unban in India

There has been no official announcement from the MLBB Team regarding the unban and progress of the situation. Players found out a way to play the game by using a VPN. All they need to do is connect to a region where MLBB is available and turn it off when successfully logged in. This trick worked till now.

In a recent report, players found out that MLBB doesn’t require the use of VPN anymore. Players can now easily login to the game without connecting to any other region. This clearly shows that they have unbanned the regional server.

Apart from that players are also getting a good ping and there’s absolutely no lag issue. But, the game is not available in the official app markets. Neither players are able to buy diamonds in-game.
