- Haunted Headlines:Don’t Scream blends ghost hunting with roguelike exploration.
- The game offers gear scavenging, weapons and spells crafting, choices, eerie Cuphead-like visuals, and more.
Vizta Games, a subsidiary of MOONTON Games, has announced the soft launch of its new haunted mansion adventure title, Haunted Headlines: Don’t Scream, now available on Android in Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore. There is no information available yet regarding iOS or the global launch.
Shoot down ghosts to survive the haunted mansion and extract treasures
So, Haunted Headlines:Don’t Scream challenges you to explore a cursed mansion with unique ghosts lurking in every corner. So, in this supernatural realm, you can explore room by room, and even scavenge strange gear to power up weapons or craft spells since you can fight the ghosts bare-handed.

To become the ghost slayer, you can forge unique weapons, like an old flashlight or better ones, while figuring out each ghost’s weaknesses to shoot them down. Now, this one also has that same Cuphead-like visual charm that we saw in ACECRAFT and the new oguelike casual, Attack on Zombies, and I feel Vizta Games is making it a signature title.
As you delve deeper into the mansion, you collect gold coins and rare items that you can extract or risk for even more rewards. And, I’m loving this tension, especially since your choices shape the ending. Overall, the game looks fun to me, even though the Play Store rating says otherwise.
Haunted Headlines:Don’t Scream is now available in soft launch on Android in Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore. So, you can download and try it via the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more updates regarding iOS and the global launch. Meanwhile, you can also check our list of all upcoming games for the month.
