Netflix Games would be getting a new batch of 5 new games coming its way as announced by Netflix via a trailer this Summer of 2023. The new titles would include games from genres like puzzles to chess wizzes to LEGO aficionados.
Netflix aims to deliver a diverse catalog of games to offer something to everyone
The new titles being released will include games such as Queen’s Gambit Chess, Shovel Knight, WrestleQuest, Paper Trail, Oxenfree 2, and many new titles. These titles would provide an even more diversified catalog of games on Netflix Games which would then be available for players subscribed to Netflix to enjoy. Following are some of the games which are being released by Netflix for the platform.
1. LEGO® Legacy: Heroes Unboxed
LEGO® Legacy: Heroes Unboxed will be a new LEGO title that will allow players to collect and battle alongside 50-plus characters from the LEGO universe. LEGO® Legacy: Heroes Unboxed will focus on the creative side of the gameplay and will allow players to build their team right from scratch and customize it the way they like. The game will be made available on Netflix Games this Summer.
2. OXENFREE II: Lost Signals
OXENFREE II: Lost Signals will be the sequel to the first released Oxenfree series, the game will follow up on the events of the prequel of the first game. The game will be set five years after the events of the first game, where players are on a gripping narrative-driven adventure featuring an all-new cast of characters and an original story. The game will be made available on Netflix Games by July 12, 2023.
3. Queen’s Gambit Chess
Queen’s Gambit Chess will be a Chess title based on the Netflix Series, Queen’s Gambit for the fans of the board game to enjoy. The game will be having several references from the show and will also allow players to test their chess playing skills against real-time players. The game will be made available on Netflix Games by July 25, 2023
4. Cut the Rope Daily
Cut the Rope Daily will be a new entry to the Cut the Rope series, the twist is that here the game will offer new challenges and puzzles on a daily basis where players will be able to have new in-game content daily. The game will be made available for players to download by August 1, 2023.
5. Paper Trail
Paper Trail will be a new fun-to-play game where the world will be made of paper and it will be the responsibility of players to pave a path for the character in a bid to complete the level. Players will have to fold, cut and basically customize the path in order to make the character reach the final end. The game will be made available on Netflix Games this summer.
