NEXON, a Japan and South Korea-based game developer and Games Workshop has signed a licensing agreement. They are going to develop and publish a new Virtual world mobile game titled Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. It will be made available for PC, Consoles as well as iOS, and Android.
Games Workshop is a gaming company based in Nottingham, UK well-known for producing the best fantasy miniatures in the world. Colin Robinson, the Vice President of Development Partnerships at NEXON started saying,

We look forward to extending this legacy that will bring the creative excellence of Warhammer to Virtual World for PC, Consoles and mobile platforms.”.

Warhammer: Age of Sigmar brings the chaos of the Mortal Realms
According to the official press release by NEXON, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar will feature a socially interactive Player vs. Environment World. This will have the support of NEXON’s world-class Live Operations.
During the age of war, the Mortal Realms were despoiled by the Chaos Gods and are on the verge of destruction. The players have to command the war – host of God Sigmar and his allies to fight and bring back peace and order to all the realms. Every season the players will collect new characters and enter into a new realm. Each character has a unique ability, story, and gameplay. The players can even customize these characters and guide them through the game to bring back the Realms.
Exciting times ahead for fans of the Warhammer universe
The game will be released globally and hence there will be multiple language options within the game. There will be a total of 13 languages including English, Russian, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), and Arabic.
Excited to see the outcome of this collaboration, the Head of Global Licensing for Games Workshop said that NEXON’s world-class live operations and infrastructure will create opportunities for engaging current and new Warhammer fans in this massive Universe.
