Once Human, the action survival game from NetEase Games has announced bringing a new round of closed beta testing, this time for Android and iOS players. The upcoming Once Human mobile version Technical Test is set to begin on September 19th, 2024, with players from select regions being able to participate.

Announced alongside its Canada early access in 2021, Once Human is an open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic universe. Here, you have to fight against mutated creatures and other players while gathering resources to survive. The game had previously arrived with multiple tests with a recent one being in April 2024 for PC.
Back to the test details, it will be exclusive to players in North America and Europe who will be able to participate. The test will support English, German, and French languages, giving you a chance to explore two key scenarios: Manibus and Evolution’s Call.
Since this is a data-deletion test, note that all progress from the test will be deleted. There are limited spots available for this test, and once the maximum number of participants is reached, access will be closed. However, the mobile test version will not be able to feature in cross-play with the current official PC version of the game.
Do not fret though, if you are looking to participate in cross-play, the PC test version will be available for download on the official website after you register a character on the mobile version. Again, make sure there will be two different versions of the PC game.
As of now, the registration details for the test are not out yet, however, the makers confirmed that they will share details on how to obtain the Technical test qualifications for Once Human soon. Once it is unveiled, I will update this space.
The Once Human pre-registrations are open, with an expected release of Jan 9, 2025
Currently, the pre-registration for Once Human is open on both Android and iOS app stores. You can jump into the Google Play Store and App Store for the details. Thanks to the detail from the App Store listing, January 9th, 2025 is the expected release date for mobile, while officially, the confirmation is yet to arrive.
