Today, Path of Titans closed beta received a significant Gondwa update, which was highlighted in a trailer released by Alderon Games. The enormous “be the dinosaur” MMO is featured in the teaser, which is narrated by Robert Irwin and includes in-game footage of actual players.

Experience Gondwa as the new pterosaur Thalassodromeus and plesiosaur Kaiwhekea in the new flagship island world, a mixture of Mediterranean island scenery on a diversified archipelago. In this prehistoric paradise, players can swim, fly, dive, and explore the bays and inlets between the islands.
On servers with up to 100 people, towering spires, ocean cliffs, canyons, secret hideouts, and more are waiting for players. In the “create your own adventure” survival sandbox, there are now thirty (30) species of playable dinosaurs, including Thalas and Kai, along with Pycnonemosaurus, and Pachycephalosaurus.

Join alongside plesiosaurs and pterosaurs on this network of islands’ coastal habitats. Dive through underwater canyons as Kaiwhekea, the first fully aquatic dinosaur, and catch thermal updrafts to soar high into the air as Thalassodromeus, the first flying dinosaur! Learn to fly over ocean cliffs and canyons, and experience the thrill of the hunt among the tranquility and beauty of coral reefs.
The environment of Path of Titans has grown in a variety of ways, adding new underwater home caves and quests, aquatic NPCs, and Thalas’ perches on cliffs and roosts. Interact with the numerous new sea creatures as you explore the hidden caves and tunnels that are concealed above and below the ocean’s surface.
Path of Titans also brings improvements to Waystone and other existing features
All platforms will notice months of optimizations, and the game has been enhanced with a number of the new Unreal Engine 5 capabilities. On Community servers, the replay system has been enhanced with additional capabilities and significantly more stability for the photographers and auteurs there.
It’s important to note the enhancements to Waystones and the ability to transport pals in-game. In order to preserve balance and stop misuse or exploitation, some gameplay mechanics have been added while the overall system has been streamlined. Don’t assume that anyone will be beamed out of activation because there is a 30-second timer while sleeping that must be met before teleporting.
A Waystone invite from a friend will appear as a pop-up on the screen. Once players agreed to the waystone invitation, they press and hold the sleep button to put themselves to sleep. When they wake up, a popup asking if they wish to use the waystone will appear, and players can decide whether or not to use it. Players must then continue to sleep for another 30 seconds.
