Phantom Blade: Executioners to start the closed beta test on January 28 ahead of the 2022 launch

Closed beta coming to only Android devices as of now

Phantom Blade: Executioners is an upcoming ARPG action game developed and being released by S-Game. The game is described as a dark epic of KUNGfUPUNK, that will feature “endless combat styles, compromises, and confrontations.” The game looks to be an intriguing new release, with the unique art style already set it apart from the realm of other gacha titles currently on the market. Developers have released Phantom Blade: Executioners closed beta only for Android.

After the closed beta registrations closing on 10th January 2022, the developers have officially announced a release date on their Twitter for the closed beta version of the game coming for Android devices only for now on 28th January 2022.

Players get to display their decesion making abilities and freestyle skills

In this game, players will have to make difficult decisions to alter the course of events. The player will have to choose whether they will lie to a young girl looking for her father and telling her he’s going to be ok when the player knows very well that he’s not. Whether they want to intervene between two feuding brothers. The choice lies in the hand of the players.

During combat, players can create different skill chain combos according to their preferences. Long chains, short bursts, and other skills can be easily adjusted. To unleash a skill chain, they’ll need to make sure their timing is right and may stack Phantom bonuses on each of their character’s unique skills to improve attributes.

Phantoms bonuses are related to the characters and story in the game and each time a player acquires a new Phantom or upgrades to one, they unlock a Phantom story. These Phantom stories may impact their decision-making and affect how they play out certain scenarios by providing additional story context for each character.

Players can mix and match gears according to their fighting style and aesthetic

Phantom Blade: Executioners also provide plenty of loot along with enough chances to earn equipment and Phantoms after winning battles. Equipment attributes are random and players can mix and match their gear to suit their playing style and aesthetic. Highly-coveted Sin Gears can be obtained in Purge Dungeons. Players can purify Sin Gear to enhance it further and most of the loot can be produced in battle.

Players can head over to the official website for more details about the game as more information about the release of the game on iOS devices will be put up on the website soon.
