But there’s more! Prepare to enjoy a Collection Challenge with a winter theme during the Winter Wonderland event and to fight to the death on Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day. Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Event 2022 Part II: Pokémon Debut and event bonuses
The Pokémon GO debuts include Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon donning festive hats.
Additionally, for the first time, Trainers will have the option to transform their Cubchoo sporting a Christmas ribbon into a Beartic sporting the same ornament. If the trainers are lucky, they might encounter a shiny one.
- Trainers have up to 40 Gifts in storage for the duration of the event.
- Trainers can select one of the various perks as payment for their Timed Research during Winter Holiday Part 2.
Trainers will have access to branching Timed Research that fulfils their desires for perks related to either hatching Eggs, catching Pokémon, or gathering Stardust. The benefits and tasks trainers have for the event will depend on the path they chose!
All Trainers who finish the research will earn goods, have the chance to meet Galarian Mr. Mime and other winter-themed Pokémon, and can choose which wish they desire to grant.
Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Event 2022 Part II: Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland in Pokémon GO will be available from Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event bonuses are:
- One additional unique trade every day
- Everyday Adventure During the occasion, incense will be activated for thirty minutes.
A Trainer can now obtain up to 15 guaranteed Lucky Pokémon in a trade, up from 10 previously. The featured attack Glaciate will be known to Kyurem if he is caught between Friday, December 23, 2022, and Sunday, January 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Event 2022 Part II: Timed Research
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in their local currency), players will be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Complete the research tasks to earn an event-themed avatar pose. Other Timed Research rewards include:
- Two Incubators
- One Incense
- Abomasnow Mega Energy
- Various event-themed Pokémon encounters
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends whom they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.
Purchases including those made for other Trainers are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins. The Winter Holiday Timed Research Ticket will only be available in the in-game shop from December 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. until December 30, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
