In an announcement made today, Niantic has revealed that tickets are now available for the Pokemon GO Safari Zone: Goyang 2022 event from Friday, September 23, 2022, to Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the beautiful Ilsan Lake Park. This will be the first-ever Safari Zone event for Pokemon GO that will be taking place in South Korea.
Following up on the successful Pokemon GO Tour events in Monterrey, Mexico, Seville, and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, trainers in South Korea can look forward to gathering together for this special in-person event this September 2022.
Tickets are live for players in the Pokemon GO Safari Zone Goyang 2022 event
Starting from Friday, September 23, 2022, to Sunday, September 25, 2022, South Korea’s first-ever Safari Zone event will be held at Ilsan Lake Park. Participating Trainers will be able to encounter a plethora of Pokémon that embody the spirit of Seville’s fabled founder: Hercules.
General Admission tickets are available now for ₩16000 ($11.95) and will grant access to gameplay within the event space at Ilsan Lake Park from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time on the day of your choice. Those who’d like to start their adventures at 9:00 a.m. can opt to purchase an Early Access ticket instead for ₩24000 ($17.93). Please note that a ticket is mandatory to experience event gameplay, and event gameplay can only be experienced within the designated space at Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang, South Korea. You’ll encounter Pokémon themed around Goyang’s rich history of flowers and romance, such as Combee, Carnivine, and Blue Flower Flabébé. You may even encounter Shiny Unown Y and Shiny Spritzee-if you’re lucky! In addition to exciting Pokémon encounters, you’ll enjoy photo opportunities, and more as you explore the scenic Ilsan Lake Park. The following features will be active within the event space on the day and time indicated on your event ticket.
- Three additional Special Trades can be made during the event for a maximum of five for the day.
- Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.
- Enjoy a short event-exclusive Special Research story.
- Event-themed Field Research will be available.
- Incense activated during the event will last for eight hours. Please note this does not apply to Daily Adventure Incense.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for four hours.

Finally, do remember that Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable laws and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are first come, first served, and will be available for purchase while supplies last. There is no global gameplay component available for this event.
