Pokémon TCG Pocket’s 30 million downloads prove the unwavering success lying ahead
Pokémon TCG Pocket was released on the 30th of October and only 9 days after, the player count is massive. Besides, according to App Magic, the digital version of the classic trading card game made over $33 million after its first week.
The surprising factor is that nearly half of it came from Japan, ie 44% of the game’s total revenue to be precise. Among the other key players, the USA shares 26%. Developer Creatures Inc. has thanked everyone and promised to introduce tons of updates coming ahead.
As Pokémon TCG Pocket crosses 30 million downloads, the first Genetic Apex Emblem Event started last night. Another two events are going on at the same time. When the game was released, it promised to deliver an amazing unpack experience. As you slice through the top of the packet, the animation and sound feels like anything else.
The game is giving freebies every day. You can unpack card decks of your choice and collect them to build and showcase your ultimate collection.
