The Pokémon Company International has announced a new Pokémon TGC. Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket will be released in 2024 on Android and iOS. The latest Pokémon Presents held on the 27th of February 2024, came with the announcement regarding the upcoming TGC Pocket. Currently, a TGC title called Pokémon Trading Card Game Live from the Pokémon Company is available. With the inclusion of the upcoming title, it is unclear if the current one will be replaced or if they both will co-exist.
“We hope to bring you a new way to enjoy the Pokémon Trading Card Game. We are hard at work developing digital cards. It will show off brilliant colors and stylish digital effects,” said Mr. Yuji Kitano, the president and CEO of Creatures Inc.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket will be available both on Android and iOS
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket will come on both Android and iOS. It is a collaboration between The Pokémon Company, DeNA, and Creatures Inc. The title will let players open booster packs and collect cards. This will feature impressive visual effects and 3D models of the cards.
The upcoming game also features a new set of cards named “immersive cards” which give players the experience of leaping into the world of the card’s illustration, providing a whole new way to enjoy the Pokémon TCG. Besides, new cards will be released only available in the upcoming game.
This game will be free-to-start and lets you enjoy collecting cards in digital format
In Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, players will be able to engage in quick battles featuring streamlined rules based on the classic Pokémon TCG battle system. The developers are looking to deliver a more intensive experience through the upcoming title. Though there is no information regarding the exact release date, players can hope to see the title on their handheld devices soon. Moreover, the title will be free-to-start.
As we wait to battle, collect, and trade Pokémon cards through the upcoming title, the developers also held a similar view to provide the best and most satisfying experience. Opening the card packs by slicing the plastic wrap will deliver a top-notch card battle experience along with showcasing unique cards to the others.
