PUBG Mobile brings new Off-Road Racing mode for Asian Games 2023

Speed is vital in this mode!

PUBG Mobile, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, has launched a special Off-Road Racing mode, created to give players a thrilling and competitive experience ahead of the upcoming 19th Asian Games. The new mode puts responses, teamwork, and perseverance to the ultimate test by drawing inspiration from high-octane, real-world activities like skydiving, off-roading, and target shooting.

The Asian Games, which are held every four years and are sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee, draw the best athletes from Asia. For the first time ever, contestants in the Asian Games 2023 will face off in the Off-Road Racing gameplay mode of the specially created PUBG Mobile Asian Games Edition in September 2023 for the chance to win the gold medal.

Players who take on the new Off-Road Racing mode will also earn bonus PUBG Mobile in-game rewards

The new Off-Road Racing mode, which is now available in PUBG Mobile, sets four teams of four players against one another in a race unlike any other. Players will compete in a multi-stage race on the Miramar map, with a range of skill challenges at each stage.

Before taking the wheel for the Vehicle Racing Stage and passing through four “Check Stations” to reach the finish line, teams will skydive into their starting positions to begin the race. When teams strategize to determine the best course for success, maintaining the car’s balance and speed management will be essential.

As soon as they arrive at a Check Station, players’ accuracy and reflexes will be put to the test as they fire down moving, soaring, and retracting targets in order to accumulate enough points to move forward. Because some targets will yield more points than others, players will need to pay great attention. A team will be closer to winning the faster they can complete a Check Station.

In-between Check Stations, teams can fire roadside targets to earn vehicle boosts, allowing for potentially thrilling comebacks as they race to the finish line. The winning team is the one who crosses the finish line first.

Moreover, participants in the new mode will also receive additional PUBG Mobile in-game goodies as they try out the new mode.
