PUBG Mobile or BGMI has launched the 1.6.5 update and Krafton has already shared the official 1.6.5 patch notes. In this update, all the old game modes will be making a return for a limited time. All these classic modes were scheduled to release in the previous 1.6 patch update. But it got delayed and has now launched in this BGMI 1.6.5 patch notes update.
Features of PUBG Mobile 1.6.5 update
The main highlight of this BGMI 1.6.5 patch notes is the return of the old game modes. All the fan-favorite game modes and maps will be making a return for a limited period of time.
1. Metro Royale: Reunion
The Metro Royale: Reunion mode, which is a part of the 1.6.5 patch update is already out on September 28th, 2021. Unlike the other modes, players can bring items found during the game to load out inventory as loot if they make it to the return point in time. These loots can be equipped to use in battle or sell them in the black market to earn metro cash.
With the collected metro cash players can buy special items found only in metro Royale mode. Metro Royale mode also features 3 maps and they are unlocked in accordance with the fame level. It also features different modes which can be unlocked depending on the level. There are bosses and underground tunnels which players can explore and draft to earn rewards.
The iconic 6×6 kilometers snow-covered Vikendi map is making its return as well. The map features its very own vehicles like Snowmobile and Snowbike which can be used for easier traveling across this snow-covered map. Vikendi is available in the game from October 8th, 2021.
3. Runic Power
Runic Power mode will be available from October 15th, 2021. Players can choose one of the runes namely the Wind, Flame, and the Ice in the spawn island. Each power has its own offense and defense powers that players can use during the battle.
4. Survive Till Dawn
Survive Till Dawn, one of the zombie modes from PUBG Mobile, is ready to make its return on October 22nd, 2021. Players have to survive a night in-game which is filled with zombies. There are also bosses that players can defeat to get special rewards during the game. In addition to that, players have to fight against other players as well.
5. Payload 2.0
Payload 2.0 will be making a return on October 31st. This mode features advanced military equipment which isn’t available on the normal version. This mode also has helicopters and armed cars equipped with superweapons. Players can also revive their dead teammates through a communication tower. There are also secret rooms with loot that players can find.
6. Virus Infection Mode
Virus Infection mode is the other zombie mode from PUBG Mobile. This was the first zombie mode released by PUBG Mobile. The Virus Infection mode consists of 3 rounds in which a player will be randomly selected as a zombie. The infected player has to infect other players whereas the other players have to survive from the infected player.
