What happened to the PMCO 2021 Fall Bangladesh slot

South Asian stage was ready to welcome the best teams from the region. Unfortunately, some unwanted situations came up and the journey looked like quite a long way to sort out the slots. The reason behind these ambiguities is the incident of the Bangladesh High Court which had ordered to ban PUBG Mobile recently, along with some other social media apps. As a result, the ongoing tournament of PMCO 2021 Fall: Bangladesh was cancelled.

There were 12 invited slots from the last season of PMPL. With the PMCO BD being cancelled, another team was to put in that place, making 13 invited teams from the last PMPL. But the 13th positioned team, Venom Legends, was already qualified to be the champions of PMNC BD 2021. So, the chance went to the 14th placed team, that is none other than A1 eSports, which is another team from Bangladesh! Indeed, a win-win situation for the teams from Bangladesh and it was a lucky situation for A1.

Final Thoughts

As the tournament is finally happening with teams from Bangladesh as well as other regions, the South Asian stage is ready to welcome them into the arena. Fans from the SA countries, now, can hope for a memorable event.
