PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) 2023 Season 3 Korea: Teams, Format, Prize Pool, and More

Road to the PMGC 2023 begins!

South Korea‘s official professional league for PUBG Mobile Esports is back again with season 3 in 2023. The PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) 2023 Season 3 Korea is set to kick off on the 12th of August. Organized by KRAFTON, the event will be both held online and offline.

The LAN finals will take place at the Dream Arena, Daejeon, South Korea. A total of ₩70,000,000 (approximately $53,000) is set as the prize pool. The event will get a ticket for the champion team to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023.

PMPS Korea 2023 Season 3: Schedule and Format

There will be two stages in the event. The regular season will kick off on the 12th of August. 16 teams will fight in 2 phases and each phase will have 4 matchdays. The top 5 teams after the regular season will start with the final with headstart points. However, all the teams will qualify for the finals.

From the first day of September, the finals will begin. Teams will start with their headstart points. A total of 18 matches will be played across several maps of PUBG Mobile. Six matches will take place each day. The event will close its run by declaring the team with the most points as the “champion”. PMPS Korea 2023 Season 3 will end on the 3rd of September.

Participating Teams

A total of 16 teams will join the battle to become the champion as well as get a ticket to the prestigious PMGC 2023. Among the teams, 12 of them are from the previous season and the rest 4 are from the Open Challenge. The list of the teams is as follows.

Prize Pool

The event will feature a whopping ₩70,000,000 (approximately $52,7000) as the prize pool. The champion team will get the largest share of ₩40,000,000 (almost $30,200) while the runner-up and the third-placed team will get ₩12,000,000 (almost $9,000) and ₩10,000,000 (almost $7,500) respectively. The rest of the teams will also get a fair share. The MVP of the event will be awarded ₩1,000,000 (almost $800).

While the exhilarating battle awaits a few moments ahead, the teams are ready to be the one team titled “the champion” and represent South Korea in the most prestigious event of PUBG Mobile Esports, the PMGC 2023. All the matches will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of PUBG MOBILE Esports KR.
