PUBG Mobile enjoys bringing new modes and collaborations to keep the audience excited. Being a PUBG Mobile player from the very beginning, I think the game is still surviving, boldly, for the events it brought and the new modes where we see a revamped version of gameplay and an inclusion of several items. As part of this continuous process, PUBG Mobile has brought yet another fun and exciting feature into the game, the Ultimate Royale.
PUBG Mobile Ultimate Royale mode will be available with the upcoming 3.4 update. Currently, the beta version is out and you can check our article to play the beta. However, the new update will launch on the 9th of September 2024 when everyone can enjoy the mode.
PUBG Mobile Ultimate Royale will deliver a true esports experience to players
Let me share my gameplay style, I hope it matches with most of the current players. I enter the game, enjoy a few Team Deathmatches, and then hop into the classic mode matches with my buddies. The classic mode is the one keeping the game alive. The appeal it brought and the gameplay, is a wholesome experience.
And, PUBG Mobile also knows it. That’s why it didn’t touch the classic mode and kept it alive. During the new modes and collaboration events, we can still play the classic mode matches without adding those fancy elements from different events. Keeping the classic gameplay the same, the game decided to bring a hardcore esports experience to the regular players. Thus, the new Ultimate Royale mode comes into PUBG Mobile.
PUBG Mobile Ultimate Royale mode: Everything you need to know
The new mode won’t be available all day long. To keep the classic mode unhampered, the game will make it available for a specific time in each region. The details will be mentioned in the game. The mode will be available only on two maps: Erangel and Miramar.
And I bet you know the game mode for this Ultimate Royale. No wonder it stays the Classic TPP and only Squad. Because there will be a 64-player lobby with 16 teams made of 4 players in each. Teaming up also stays the same as the classic mode. It will be either automatic matchmaking or you can jump with your friends.
There are five tiers in this mode namely the Vanguard, Exceed, Supreme, Peerless, and Legend. The mode gives rewards each week. Besides, there will be separate rewards for reaching each tier. There’s a requirement to get into the new mode.
You must be at Crown Tier in the current or previous season to be eligible to jump into the game. I think the game made this because it wanted to create a competition apart from the classic experience. Playing the mode will give you a few rewards. Let’s take a look at them:
- Dynamic Title
- Nickname Color
- Nickname Effect
The more fun things are that there won’t be any Red Zones and everything will be according to the esports standard. For example, the Playzone Shrink Time, Blue Zone, Spawn Rate of Supplies, etc. Aim Assists, Shop, and Flare Guns will not be available. Once you’re matched, you cannot exit the game. For 1 elimination in the match, you’ll get 1 point. Now, let’s see the Rank Points:

Well, the new mode will be fun to play for sure if not higher-tier or skilled players come into your lobby and decimate your squad. It won’t be an esports-like experience then. But once the new mode becomes live in-game, we can tell you other kinds of stuff and maybe give you a guide on it.
