Immerse in an exciting music festival experience with Rec Rocks in Rec Room

Rec Rocks will provide players with an immersive experience unlike any other, allowing them to connect with friends from all over the globe while exploring virtual environments modeled after an open canyon. The event will have two full days of performances, with headliners Ethan Bortnick, a multi-hyphenate artist, and Tokyo Machine, an EDM artist, among others.

Ethan Bortnick and EDM artist Tokyo Machine will headline the Rec Rocks festival on March 11 and 12 respectively

Tokyo Machine will appear on the mainstage on the first day of the festival, bringing his electrifying beats and exhilarating performances along with him.

“I was astounded by how engaging games like laser tag and ping-pong could be the first time he played Rec Room six years ago,” said Tokyo Machine. He added, “I’m super pumped to play Rec Rocks and will be debuting a whole set of unreleased songs with a performance that will be unlike anything my fans have ever seen!”

On the second day of the festival, Bortnick will appear on the main stage, playing piano and singing along to crowd favorites. After missing his real-life prom due to COVID-19, he earlier hosted an in-game prom for the Rec Room community in the spring.

“My 2023 tour will begin with a visit at Rec Room. As Rec Room’s technology develops, it enables even more elaborate lighting, staging, and other set elements. The entire set is crazier and showcases everything I can’t do in a real-life setting,” said Bortnick.

Rec Room will also offer artist exclusive merchandise at the music festival

Exclusive artist merchandise will be offered at the two-day free music event. There will be booths set up for the community’s creators that will display and sell their in-game creations and merchandise. Visit this page to view the music festival’s complete program.
