Rocket League Sideswipe is the mobile version of the popular console game Rocket League, a car-based sports game developed by Psyonix. In the 4th season of the game, the developers are bringing a crossover event with the console version, a new medieval-themed arena, a new game mode, and many more new in-game items. The Rocket League Sideswipe season 4 has already started on July 5, 2022.
Season 4 brings a new Arena and a brand new Hero
A new arena called the Eggscalibur has been revealed and is going to have stained glass windows, and an arching citadel ceiling, which makes it the perfect place for an epic game of car soccer. The new hero this season has been also revealed and is called Fennec.
Players will also be able to fight through the new free Rocket Pass to earn gear and unlock the Battle Axe to crush their enemies or use the Magic Missile Boost to have a great mage build. After players reach level 50, they can also earn the mythical Quartz Goal Explosion.
The shop will also have new items like Lime Draco Wheels, the fabled Sword Banner, Sea-nicron Avatar, and much more to help the players customize their characters. Players can also earn more SP by completing new Daily Challenges.
Introducing a brand new game mode Mutator Madness
In this mode, the players will get a lot of randomization options which will lead to a lot of chaos inside the match but it will also be a lot of fun. With this mode, players can play with a cube as the ball, have an unlimited boost or even change the intensity of gravity, ball speed, car size, and many more things as such. The name Mutator Madness sums up the mode perfectly as it mutates the normal features of the game which in turn will definitely lead to some madness.
Rocket League x Rocket League Sideswipe Crossover event
The event has already started and will end on July 19, 2022. Players can open Sideswipe and log in using their Epic Games account to earn rewards in Rocket League. Players can then head over to the Challenges tab to use their skills to earn rewards like the Calculated Avatar by earning 5 MVPs in online matches or the Calculated Goal Explosions in both games by winning 20 online matches.
At last, the hoop mode is returning to the Dunk House for a limited amount of time. Players who are interested in it should hurry as extra modes rotate each season and will go away after some time.
