The 3D Sci-fi RPG shooter Snowbreak: Containment Zone has announced that certain adjustments to Operatives and outfit designs will be made on both mainland China and global servers. The changes necessary for these adjustments will be going live with the update arriving on August 30, 2024.
A limited period will be granted to make final outfit purchases in Snowbreak: Containment Zone
The adjustments include the indefinite removal of specific limited-time outfits from the Quartermaster after August 30, 2024. However, with the opening of a brief period from August 27 to August 30, 2024, you can make your final purchases. Additionally, pass-limited outfits will be removed from the battle pass, from both Normal and Ultimate Battle Pass.
For those who have purchased the current Advanced or Ultimate Stellar Pass before that time, the pass-limited outfits will be available for a limited time in a special tab in the Quartermaster. The complete list of skins undergoing this process is listed below.

Now, stopping the sale from the makers won’t affect your ownership or use of the outfits if you’ve already bought them, and it also won’t impact any related covers or avatars you unlocked. As I mentioned earlier, some outfits’ appearances will change. During the same day as select outfit removal, the below characters will be getting a new look for their outfits.

For these changes, several compensations are planned. After the update, you can collect an avatar and sticker pack featuring Fenny – Lion Dance. In case you purchased any limited-time outfit from the Quartermaster or battle pass outfit/skin before the update, you will be getting Fritia – Little Sunshine Leafy Secret skin for free.
Snowbreak: Containment Zone recently got its new art rejected by Google Play
In case it’s not clear from the announcement, the game has been hit with censorship. Snowbreak: Containment Zone has maintained a consistency in both global and Chinese servers, and given how strict the latter is with censorship, they had to cut out any skin that they found against the books. An update was also delayed because of a similar issue, as Google Play had rejected it.
The Producer of the game also posted on X regarding the situation but has given assurance to fans that future updates won’t be cut out of “fanservice“. Regardless, removing art designs that involved hours of planning and development is a significant disappointment. Here’s hoping this doesn’t happen again in the future.
