German video game developer and publisher HandyGames is set to release the action–adventure title SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake in December 2023 for mobile devices. Following the release of the title last January on several platforms, the game is set to launch on the mobile platforms by HandyGames. As of now, the title is taking pre-registrations on Mobile platforms and a 12th of December 2023 release date was spotted. The paid title will take adventure lovers into the beautiful “Wish Worlds“.
The game lets the players explore several Wish Worlds to bring back peace in Bikini Bottom
The plot is set in several Wish Worlds where SpongeBob and Patrick travel to save their friends and Bikini Bottom from becoming a chaotic state. The story begins with SpongeBob and Patrick getting a bottle of “Wish-granting Tears” from a mermaid.
But the wishes went wrong and several portals opened up and sucked everyone into them. The Wishworlds are full of knights, cowboys, pirates, and prehistoric snails to stop the protagonist and his ballon-shaped friend Patrick.
You will unlock classic and new platforming skills like the Fishhook Swing and Karate Kick. More than 30 F.U.N.tastic costumes like SnailBob and SpongeGar, including seven distinct Wishworlds will be a one-of-a-kind journey throughout the world.
You’ll also meet with familiar Bikini Bottomites from the series, voiced by their original actors. The soundtrack of the title is composed by the composers of Battle for Bikini Bottom who worked on dozens of songs from the series.

SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake is primarily developed for platforms like PC, and handheld Switches. The title is developed by Purple Lamp and published by THQ Nordic for platforms. HandyGames will be in charge of bringing the mobile adaptation. The game is not free to play thus you’ll need to buy this title for a price of $9.99 on mobile.
The game is currently running pre-registration on Google Play Store and pre-order on Apple App Store. While we wait for the official announcement and the mobile release of SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake, the game, however, put a trailer to take a look inside.
