The King of Fighters ALLSTAR, a well-known mobile action RPG game, has received a new October 2022 update from Netmarble, a top developer and publisher of top-notch mobile games. Players now have access to additional characters, combat cards, and in-game occasions.
October 2022 update brings new playable characters to The King of Fighters ALLSTAR
This latest game update adds several new playable characters including:
- Athena Asamiya (Yellow Element/Balance type) enters the game with a leader skill that raises the ATK and Critical DMG of [Extreme] fighters by 50% and 35%, respectively. Her special abilities also grant her immunity to DMG for 4 seconds when her HP is 20% or below, with a cooldown rate of 10 seconds, and raise ATK by 10% and Penetration by 600 for 5 seconds for each attack, stacking up to 5 attacks.
- A leader skill that boosts [Red element] fighters’ ATK by 50% and critical DMG rate by 25% is brought by Lady Chin Gentsai (Red Element/Defense type), who is also added in today’s update. When an active talent with a 7 second cooldown is used, special skills for this furious fighter enhance Physical DMG by 150% of Critical DMG Rate for 7 seconds. Her special abilities also feature a PVP-only special that, when her HP reaches 70% or higher, casts a Critical Hit Shield to absorb DMG for 7 seconds. Additionally, players will lose their Critical Hit Shield after 6 consecutive attacks on it, with a 15-second cooldown.
When equipped with Athena Asamiya, new battle cards are available that increase the Critical DMG Rate by 30% for 10 seconds, when equipped with Lady Chin Gentsai the finisher cooldown will reset and make skills available.
Participate in new in-game events to win amazing rewards in The King of Fighters ALLSTAR
To celebrate this new game update, players can enter an abundance of new in-game events to obtain various rewards:
- Team Co-op Event: Various rewards are available for those who clear the missions during the event period, such as BS Fighter Selector, depending on the team score or individual score.
- Popstar Gift Event: Players can acquire either Popstar Cake, Popstar Chocolate, or Popstar Heart Letter via Halloween Gift Item Mystery Box during the event. The item can be gifted to fighters and rewards will be offered in accordance with the player’s level of achievement.
- Rush Dungeon: Fire, Psycho Soldier!: Players can receive rewards such as ‘Fire, Psycho Soldier! Rush Event Coin’ and growth items for fighters once they clear the round for each stage.
- Challenge Dungeon, Strength Equals Cuteness!: This new dungeon will be opened once players acquire either XV Athena Asamiya or Lady Chin Gentasi.
- Halloween Witch’s Login Bonus: A special login event will offer players rewards including the Awaken EXP Capsule or Elite Enhancement Hammer.
- EX Event Codex: Acquire XV Athena Asamiya or Lady Chin Gentsai during the event period, and rewards will be offered as the fighter grows.
The King of Fighters ALLSTAR boasts fast-paced fighting action as players battle through waves of enemies, giant bosses, and rival fighter teams.
