Tokyo Revengers, the popular anime series, is getting its own mobile game now! The game’s official website is now up along with the official Twitter account. The game is being developed by GOODROID, a designer and publisher that specializes in hyper-casual and anime-based games, and will be released for both iOS and Android in mid-2022 according to a timer on the game’s website.
Tokyo Revengers is a pretty popular anime show right now that is based on Ken Wakui’s manga. It was released earlier this year and has 24 episodes with a second season in the works due to its popularity. The manga also won the 44th Kodansha Manga Awards, got third place in Japan’s Yearly Manga Rankings, and sold more than 24 million copies this year itself.
The plotline revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who has the powers to go into the past and change the future which he discovers after going back in time preventing the death of those close to him who was murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang in another timeline.

For now, there are no specifics regarding what kind of genre the game is going with but it’s classified as a “National Conquest Puzzle” so it’s most probably going to have puzzle gameplay with a Tokyo Revengers themed gameplay.
