Tower of Fantasy has recently revealed plans for a server merge scheduled to commence on July 25, 2023. The merge will be conducted in multiple phases in different regions to ensure a smooth process due to the enormous workload involved.
The transfer service will be discontinued upon the Tower of Fantasy server merge completion
The server merges are based on regions, which is aimed to enable seamless play within each region, eliminating the need for players to transfer servers to connect with friends in the same area. Additionally, server configuration will be optimized, and server lines will be increased to ensure a better gaming experience for players.
To address the anticipated rise in player numbers following the server merge, the team is also planning to expand the ranking settlement range for certain game modes. However, following the server merge, the transfer service will be discontinued. As a result, they will be reimbursing the consumed Tanium for players who have completed server transfers since July 1st.
The scheduled maintenance in batches is as follows.
- Europe: July 25, 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM UTC
- Southeast Asia: July 25, 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM UTC
- South America: July 25, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM UTC
- North America: July 26, 2:00 AM to 3:00 PM UTC
- Asia-Pacific: July 26, 5:00 PM to July 27, 4:00 AM UTC
As part of the server merge compensation, players who have reached Wanderer Lv. 6 before the maintenance will be eligible to receive 100 dark crystals per hour. If any issues are faced during or after the merge, players can contact the support service for their respective queries.
