MGM and NetEase Games announced today the first crossover event between NetEase Games’ mobile RPG game Vikingard and MGM’s hit television series Vikings. The first in-game integration, which will debut on August 23rd, will feature thrilling content and exciting themed events related to Vikings season 1 that will allow players to experience the legendary Ragnar Lothbrok‘s journey.
Recruit and fight alongside legendary characters in Vikingard x Vikings crossover
Vikingard and the Vikings franchise have both become true global sensations, and the two will meet for the first time in one of the year’s biggest gaming events. Those who have always wanted to fight alongside heroes from the Vikings universe will soon be able to do so thanks to a series of special in-game integrations that will combine Vikings and Vikingard!
Players will be able to recruit and battle alongside Vikings character Ragnar, Lagertha, Rollo, and Floki in the first Vikings-themed integration into Vikingard. Vikingard’s art design has recreated these characters in stunning detail, allowing players to admire them as they fight their way through foes.
Join Ragnar in his quest to become King and earn exclusive rewards
Following the completion of the first in-game integration, these four Vikings characters will accompany and assist players in their quests to seize territories and attack cities. Players can join Ragnar on his quest to become King. They can invite Ragnar, Lagertha, Rollo, and Floki to their tribes to gain insight into their journeys. Players can even befriend these Vikings icons and earn exclusive rewards, allowing them to cherish their journey together.

NetEase Games has also revealed that more Vikings-themed crossovers are, with additional limited-time integrations in the works to further expand players’ journeys through the Vikings universe.
