Xsolla and Savvy Games Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with each other for improving video game development in the Middle East. According to the new MoU, Xsolla will join forces with Savvy Games Group to advance the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 which involves creating new economic opportunities for video game developers in the Middle East.
The partnership aims to follow up on Vision 2030 and create new opportunities for game developers around the globe
According to the new partnership, around 3,600 new video game industry jobs are being targeted to be created by the end of 2030. The target follows Saudi Arabia’s vision of 2030 which involves video game development in its portfolio of targets. The MoU will not only help in video game development in the Middle East but will allow Xsolla to operate its regional headquarters from Riyadh to help developers in the region.
Not just this, but the partnership will also see Xsolla Savvy Video Game Development Academy, Incubator, and Accelerator programs being launched within the Kingdom to generate more economic opportunities. This will help the developers create better titles with all the new tech and support now being available. With Xsolla Savvy Game Development Academy, game development will also be promoted as a viable career option for the youth in the Kingdom.

Xsolla has been promoting game development for quite some time now with the company launching platforms and features to assist game developers in their reach and sales alike. They recently released a report for the game industry as well featuring the changes the industry is going through. Last year, they expanded their operations in Malaysia and now with their partnership with Savvy Games Group solidifies and augments their progress in improving the global game development industry.
