Mobile Legends: Bang Bang had an amazing proceeding at the Esports Awards 2024 as it bagged itself, the Mobile Esports Game of the Year Award for the second consecutive year. The famous multiplayer battle arena game has been smashing records and now there is one more to its name. The Esports Awards, presented by Honor this year was established in 2017 and plays an important role in acknowledging the efforts and celebrating various achievements of various teams, celebrities, casters, titles, and media in the industry.

This year, Mobile Legends or MLBB won the Mobile Esports Game of the Year while facing tough competition from the likes of Pokemon Unite, Brawl Stars, Call of Duty, Free Fire, and PUBG Mobile. This achievement is quite remarkable as this marks MOONTON Games‘ second consecutive win in the Esports Awards 2024 with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Mobile Legends clinched nominations in other categories as well including Esports Game of the Year

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang did not just win Mobile Esports Game of The Year this year which is quite a remarkable feat in itself, but it was also awarded with nominations in other keenly awaited nominations as well, one of them being the Esports Game of The Year 2024, where it won a nomination for the final spot but was edged by Valorant for the final prize.

The game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has had a banging year, MOONTON has been adding new events and game modes to keep the community engaged. The game has also been performing great on the Esports front with developers having dedicated plans and events organised which saw them garner a peak viewership of around 3.18 million.

MOONTON Games is working on building an open ecosystem to add more competitive teams to the mix. This could lead to more competitive tournaments and prize pools in the future. The game already has a great community and following especially in the Southeast Asia region, now with the new plans in place, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang might look forward to global dominance.
