Brawl Stars has launched the Mr. P’s Gym Rat Challenge event, allowing you to unlock Mr. P’s new skin, Mr. P Gym Rat, for free. This challenge is now live in-game and will be available until November 27, providing you with a chance to grab this skin along with more rewards. So, let’s dive into the details!
Brawl Stars Mr. P’s Gym Rat Challenge Event Overview
So, the game is back with another limited-time challenge event, and this time it is Mr. P’s Gym Rat Challenge, with three stages to complete, like the UNO Challenge. Now, by completing this challenge, you can obtain the all-new Mr. P Gym Rat skin for free, along with Mr. P Player Icon.
In all three stages, you need to win three matches, achieving a total of 9 wins to complete the challenge and unlock the skin, along with the other rewards. However, you’ll only get 4 limited lives, which is a bummer, but you can still spend your hard-earned Gems for extra lives. I wish it were unlimited.
How to complete the Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Event
The good part is that the process to complete the challenge is quite simple, as you only have to clear 3 stages to obtain your desired rewards. You need three wins per stage to progress to the next, which can get challenging as randoms don’t always play well. Here’s a rundown of the 3 stages, along with tips for completing them and earning all the rewards:
Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Stage 1: Knockout
The first one is Knockout mode, where you’ve to defeat the opponent’s team in 3x Knockout rounds. The match ends when one team wins two rounds; however, there is no revival in this game mode, forcing you to stay out for the rest of each round if you’re eliminated.
For this stage, you can aim for Tank or Marksmen Brawlers because staying alive is equally important as eliminating. So, you can try Piper, Belle, or Lola, since you poke safely while maintaining a distance, while Brawlers like Hank or Ollie can help you with survivability. The map for this stage is Double Decker.
Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Stage 2: Gem Grab
After clearing the first stage, you’ll have to battle out in Gem Grab mode, where you need to collect and hold onto 10 gems to win the match. The team with the most gems when time runs out wins in this mode. The map that you’ll be playing on is Gem Fort.
Here, you can go with Max if you plan on stealing the Gems or just rotate quickly. Artillery Brawlers like Juju and Grom can also be picked, provided you’ve solid frontline Brawlers like Ash or Frank. I like to pick Controllers like Squeak or Mr. P, as you can irritate your enemies from a distance.
Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Stage 3: Bounty
Lastly, you’ve Bounty, where you earn stars for eliminating enemy Brawlers. Here, you’ve to survive and avoid giving the stars on your head to your enemies. And if your team succeeds in reaching 20 stars first, you’ll win. The map for this one is Dry Season.
In this stage, your positioning matters a lot since the bushes are scattered around the map. For the Brawler pick, you can go for Kaze, Kenji, or Max, since their mobility helps you dodge enemy attacks, and you can instead go aggro on them.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it once more that I don’t particularly enjoy challenges like this one, which just offers 4 lives instead of unlimited tries. This forces you to spend your hard-earned Gems, as realistically, not everyone is clearing all the stages without losing all lives. So, I would recommend that you team up with others to improve your chances of winning.
