Besides the championship, the top 5 teams have qualified for the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) Group Stage, and also on the PUBG Mobile Regional Clash 2024 (PMRC) PEL vs CSA vs SEA.
Before concluding the grand final, 24 teams joined the esports event that started on the 8th of May 2024. Later, 16 teams qualified for the grand finals and 18 matches took place to determine the champion.
PMSL SEA Summer 2024 champion ends the event way ahead of the others
The League stage wasn’t well for the champion. But the team managed to crane up and be placed in the top position. As the grand finals began, the first day went mixed for BOOM, the team finished in third place. Yoodo Alliance was on top with 83 points while BOOM picked up 56.
As the event progressed to its next day, it became more interesting as all the teams were throwing their level best potential. Winning two WWCDs on the second day, BOOM climbed to the top and stayed at 138 points with a fair gap of 12 points from D’Xavier.
However, the PMSL SEA Summer 2024 champion did not let go on the third day off and showed more consistency and aggression throughout the remaining matches. Thus, a total of 200 points were written by their names and the team won the trophy.
BOOM Esports grabbed a huge amount, placing an eye on the next events
Becoming the champion, the champion pocketed $35,000 as the winning money while the runner-up took $20,000 home. After that, third-placed Yoodo Alliance grabbed a share of the total amount, that is $11,000 in their account. Yummy from BOOM has become the Final MVP and was awarded an additional $1,000.
However, after winning the big event, the next target will be the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024. When PUBG Mobile completes the run of PMSL in all its regions, the forward momentum will carry the esports event far to the finale of the 2024 roadmap. Before that, another remarkable event is coming near, the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2024 is scheduled to take place in August. The event is worth $3,000,000 and all the qualified teams are aiming to earn a respectable position there.
