PUBG Mobile event in the Asian Games 2023 has come to an end today and China has become the gold medal winner. Taking the lowest 44:36.943 time, the country was almost 6 minutes ahead of the runner-up South Korea. The 19th Asian Games is being hosted in the city of Hangzhou in China. The event features the best athletes from Asia. PUBG Mobile is one of the medal events in the 19th Asian Games and has featured 21 teams for the gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Before the grand finals took place, the event started on the 27th of September 2023. Featuring a total of 21 participants for the event, fans managed to witness some of the popular faces under their country tag in the just concluded event.
Asian Games 2023 PUBG Mobile: The winning team’s run to the gold medal
The run towards the gold medal started with the qualifications round. Before the grand finals, several other stages took place with the participation of the contenders. In the grand finals, four teams competed for four rounds to win the medals.
However, China becomes the crowing winner after completing the tasks taking just 44:36.943. The silver medalist team, South Korea, took 50:25.039 while the bronze winner Chinese Taipei took 51:04.145.
A different set of tasks was put to measure the performance
Asian Games 2023 used a special version of PUBG Mobile other than the mainstream esports version. Blending real-world sports with PUBG Mobile’s classic gameplay, the version used a mixture of modern sports events. These included parachuting, cross-country shooting, and racing.
Under a fixed time limit of 30 minutes for each round, players participated in several activities. Last August, the game brought a new Off-Road Racing mode for the Asian Games 2023. It was introduced before the players to give them a thrilling and competitive experience.
