Due to visa issues, the Indian Clash of Clans teams in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2022 finals are unable to depart for Poland. The four eligible teams will therefore be excluded from both the challenge finals and the Golden Ticket Showdown. Both of the events begin on August 4th and are LAN-based. The competition was scheduled to feature teams from three different regions.
The event will now include the remaining two regions, with the exception of India, as the unwelcome event manifests. A golden ticket to Clash of Clans World Championship 2022 will be awarded to the winning team of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series. Indian teams have encountered these issues previously. The Indian Brawl Stars teams previously had trouble obtaining visas to visit MSI, Sweden.
The India Challenge final will now be held in India
Four Indian teams, including Team XO, Marcos Gaming, Crowned YT, and Marcos Esports, are said to have qualified for the final four of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2022. Poland’s Katowice was supposed to host the competition’s finale. For a spot in the upper bracket final, each team will compete against the other in the semifinals. More games will follow in order to select the teams that will compete in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series championship game.
Despite the fact that the teams cannot travel outside to engage in the challenge, the organizers made a wise choice by replacing the location with the nation itself. The project is ideal for recognizing the community teams because India has a sizable Clash of Clans community.
According to a communication from the organizers, the final has been shifted to India after discussion with Supercell. Additionally, adopting the same tournament rules as Poland, the teams will also compete in the Golden Ticket Showdown remotely from an ESL Studio.
