The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022, held biannually by Garena, is a global tournament, which will take place for the 2nd time in the year in Bangkok. The upcoming FFWS 2022 is going to be held in Bangkok on the 25th and 26th of November, 2022. This tournament is a LAN event that will witness some of the world’s best Free Fire teams lock horns for lion’s share of the prize pool. Earlier this year Garena hosted the first FFWS 2022 tournament that took place in Sentosa, Singapore, in May.
Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022 Bangkok: Tournament Format
The Free Fire World Series 2022 Bangkok will commence in the month of November. It will be played in two stages, i.e., the Play-ins and the Grand Finals.
Play-ins (November 25th, 2022)
The runners-ups across Free Fire Regional championships have booked their slot in the Play-ins stage of the FFWS 2022. A total of 9 teams have qualified for the Play-ins stage. A total of 8 matches will be played with the top 4 performing teams advancing to the Finals.
Grand Finals (November 26th, 2022)
There are a total of 12 teams that will compete in the Grand Finals. Eight teams among them are directly invited. The rest of the 4 teams will secure their spots in the Finals from the Pay-ins stage. Similar to the previous stage, a total of 8 matches will be held in this stage, with one among the teams emerging as the winner of the championship.

Free Fire World Series 2022 Bangkok has unveiled a massive prize pool of $2 million. Some detailed information regarding the prize money break-up has not been released yet. The FFWS 2022 Sentosa tournament also featured prize money of $2 million, which included $500,000 for the winning team.
