The Free Fire esports scene in Malaysia is rising after the end of the Spring season. As the new Fall season is here, the clock is ticking to kick off the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) MY Fall 2024. With a lucrative ticket to the FFWS SEA Fall 2024, the event will also distribute a total of $50,000 as the prize pool. While the teams are packing to get ready, let’s explore the event.
Free Fire World Series (FFWS) MY Fall 2024: Schedule and Format
Just after the end of the Spring season, teams started to lock in for the next Fall season of 2024. The in-game qualifier started online to select a few teams while the others are going to join from the previous season. However, teams that are already invited to the next big event after this country championship, cannot take part in the FFWS MY Fall 2024.
With 18 teams, the Knockout stage will kick off on the 15th of June 2024 and will end on the 30th. Teams will be divided into 3 groups of 6 each and play 36 matches in total. Each matchday will feature 6 matches, making it a total of 6 matchdays. While the knockout stage will cross halfway through, the groups will be reshuffled to make sure a fair and competitive event. The top 12 teams will advance to Points Rush and Grand Finals.
The next stage, Point Rush, will begin on the 6th of July and end on the following day. The remaining 12 will play 12 matches, 6 matches a day. This stage will offer headstart points for the participant teams. Finally, the grand finals will take place on the 27th of July 2024. It will be held offline and 6 matches will be played to select the champion and also the winner of a direct slot to the FFWS SEA Fall 2024.

Three teams from the Spring 2024 season, one Malaysian team relegated from FFWS Southeast Asia Spring 2024, and 14 from the online qualifier finals will join the battle. Though the grand final will feature 12 teams, the intense battle will begin when 18 teams will start the journey. Here is the list of the participant teams:

Prize Pool
A whopping $50,000 is allocated for the teams which the participants will get after the end of the event. Based on the rankings at the end of the grand finals, all the teams will pocket a decent amount. Besides, the champion will qualify for the regional event, FFWS SEA Fall 2024.
