G2 Esports teams up with Blacklist International to announce a co-branded Wild Rift roster, G2 Blacklist

A big strategic partnership

Premier esports organization Blacklist International, based in the Philippines, recently revealed a new co-branded Wild Rift roster on February 15 after announcing a strategic partnership with the well-known European organization G2 Esports.

Both organizations are considered to be the top organizations in their respective regions. G2 Blacklist will be the name of the revealed squad, and its roster will be composed of six Filipino players.

Blacklist International has also revealed the players of the new roster along with the announcement of the partnership. The roster will include all Filipino players. The official roster for the new Wild Rift team includes-

  • Baron: Karl Ken “Karlll” Bautista
  • Jungle – Jairus Allain “Jace” Elgera
  • Mid – Jhon Mike “Xyliath” Tungol
  • Dragon – Richard “Demon” Lara
  • Support/Captain – Beaver-ed “Orthros” Villanueva 
  • Sub/Baron – Allen Dean “Don” Viola
  • Head Coach – Hans “WUrahhhh” Solano
  • Assistant Coach – Keiya “XDXP” Laureta

On Friday, February 17, 2023, the newly revealed squad will make their competitive debut in the Phase 2 Qualifiers of the Wild Rift League Asia tournament.

G2 Esports x Blacklist International is one of the biggest partnerships in mobile esports

Both G2 Esports and Blacklist International are regarded as being among the most reputable organizations in their respective regions of the world. Each of the organizations has seen a fair amount of success in a variety of different competitions. Blacklist International was a huge name in the mobile esports industry while G2 Esports also made a name for themselves in the PC esports industry.

G2 Esports has put together championship-caliber teams in a variety of popular games till now, including League of Legends, CS: GO, and Rocket League. Also, Blacklist has had a huge impact in the world championships of notable mobile titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty Mobile. In the eyes of G2 Esports, the mobile business is still in its development, and the organization has only just begun to explore its potential.
