The most hyped and awaited battle royale mobile game Apex Legends Mobile is finally dropped off on a soft launch in 10 countries. The free-to-play battle royale is developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. While players are downloading the game now, most of them couldn’t choose a suitable name at first. So, here’s a brief guide for the players who are looking to change their in-game names now.
Steps to change the in-game name in Apex Legends Mobile
The Rename Card is the very first thing you’ll need for changing your in-game nickname. Make sure you have it in your inventory. Otherwise, you’ll need to buy it from the store and it will cost 299 Syndicate Gold. Go to the Store>Boosters to buy a Rename Card. You’ll find the Sore menu on the bottom right of the in-game lobby. Now, go through the following steps to change your in-game name
- Open the Apex Legends Mobile app and head to the in-game lobby. Just tapping the game icon from your app drawer will take you there.
- From the in-game lobby, tap on your profile icon from the top-left corner of the screen and now tap Profile. You’ll see the profile details there. Now tap on the edit option which is just beside the Profile menu.
- Now, tap on Change Name and an empty box will appear. Write your chosen name there (not exceeding 14 characters) and press OK. Congratulations! You’ve changed your name successfully.
As players can give themselves a new name now by following the above-mentioned steps, the rest work is to jump on the battlefield and make the new name established among the enemies.
