Heroes are a very crucial and iconic element in the world of Clash of Clans due to the unique abilities they come with that can turn the tide of the battle. Being extremely powerful troops themselves, they are capable of enormous destruction. The Grand Warden is one of the four Heroes present in the game, and is also the most passive of them all, as his abilities are primarily focused on providing support to the other troops, rather than dealing damage himself like the others. In this article, we will list down the different Grand Warden skins in Clash of Clans.
Clash of Clans Grand Warden: Complete list of skins
When the Grand Warden was initially added to the game in the month of December, way back in the year 2015, he did not have any skins and only wore his default outfit. But in the later half of the year 2019, the Grand Warden was granted his first skin in the game, and since then multiple skins have been added and the total figure currently stands at 15 skins. Here we have listed all 15 of the Grand Warden skins of Clash of Clans in order.
1. Party Warden
The Party Warden is the first Grand Warden skin that was added to the game, in December of 2019 and therefore, has some retro value to it. The skin gives the Warden the look of a party vocalist and his staff appears to have become a microphone. Meanwhile, his book appears in the form of a boombox on his shoulder. He wears cool shades and cries the word “Partyy!” when deployed or tapped. The skin came as part of the Season Challenge Gold Pass and cost 1500 gems.
2. Primal Warden
The Primal Warden, as his name suggests, is a skin that dresses up the Warden as a primal human being, carrying a skeleton arm as a staff, wearing a skull headpiece, and a leather coat. He also waves the skeletal hand in the air if the player taps on him, as a greeting. The Primal Warden skin was added to the game in January 2020 and was available via the Season Challenge Gold Pass in the game. The skin cost 1500 gems to unlock and equip.
3. Clockwork Warden
The Clockwork Warden is one of, if not the most unique Grand Warden skin that has been released in the game till now. This particular skin was released in 2020, in the month of April as part of the Season Challenge Gold Pass and cost 1500 gems. The Grand Warden takes the form of a wooden robot, wields a staff with a Tesla coil, and holds what appears to be a vial of electricity. He shoots beams of electricity at the buildings in the way.
4. Gladiator Warden
The Gladiator Warden was released in July 2020. It was available via the Gold Pass in the Season Challenge and cost 1500 gems. The Grand Warden takes on a somewhat celestial appearance and wields a staff that has a thunderbolt attached to the tip. He also stands atop a small cloud when he is set on aerial mode.
5. Pirate Warden
The Pirate Warden appears exactly as his name suggests, that is, he takes after the look of a fictional sea pirate. He has a pet parrot sitting on his shoulder and he has a musket in his hand, instead of his staff and shoots bullets at buildings, instead of beams. When the Pirate Warden is knocked out, instead of stars appearing on his head, birds appear. Released in October 2020, this is yet another skin that is available in the Season Challenge Gold Pass and came at a cost of 1500 gems.
6. Warden of the North
The Warden of the North was released as part of the Winter Update in January 2021 and appeared in the Season Challenge Gold Pass. He wears a winter coat typical of Northern Europe and carries a sort of lantern as his staff. The Warden of the North skin was priced at 1500 gems as well.
7. Jungle Warden
The Jungle Warden looks like it has taken certain inspirations from Clash Royale‘s Dart Goblin, a troop from the extended Clash Universe. The Jungle Warden dons an indigenous outfit made of leaves and sports a mask similar to that of the Dart Goblin. He carries a voodoo doll and a skull-mounted stick of bamboo and has a shaved head. The skin cost 1500 gems and was a part of the May 2021 Season Challenge Gold Pass.
8. Warden Master
The Warden Master is the Grand Warden sporting a look that dictates his intelligence and experience, thus the name. He rocks a full beard and a bun and is seen wearing a traditional Chinese cloak. He carries a bamboo shoot for his staff and a scroll in place of the book. This skin came in the Season Challenge Gold Pass in October 2021. It cost 1500 gems.
9. Jolly Warden
Added to the game in the Christmas/Winter Update of December 2021 in the Season Challenge Gold Pass for 1500 gems, the Jolly Warden could very well be referred to as the Father Christmas of Clash of Clans. He has a red nose, carries a gift box in place of his book, and wields a branch of holly as his staff. He wears winter attire which is popularly associated with Father Christmas.
10. Warrior Warden
The Warrior Warden looks like a royal Chinese warrior, the likes of which existed in the medieval ages of the last millennia. This is a reference to the Chinese New Year, which is the occasion when this skin was released in February 2022 in the Season Challenge Gold Pass and cost 1500 gems. He carries a type of firearm that shoots bolts of fire instead of a beam. The firearm can also function as a hoverboard and carry the Warden when he is set to aerial mode.
11. Shadow Warden
If players are familiar with the Clash game of Clash Royale, they will immediately notice an uncanny resemblance that the Shadow Warden has with the Night Witch. He carries an ominous-looking staff and strangely, carries a peeled banana in his other hand, the purpose of which is most likely humour. This is also the first Grand Warden skin that did not come with the Gold Pass. It was available in a special offer in April 2022 and cost $9.99.
12. Summer Warden
The Summer Warden was added to the game in the summer of 2022, in June, and is to date the last Grand Warden skin that was available through the Gold Pass. He takes on the appearance of a beach rescuer and sports sunshades and a life jacket. He carries a microphone into which he screams in order to produce beams that deal damage, and has a swimming tube with him that he uses to stand on while floating in the air. This skin cost 1500 gems.
13. Pixel Warden
The Pixel Warden was added to the game to commemorate a very special occasion and a milestone in the history of Clash of Clans. It was available as a special offer on the 10th Anniversary Clashiversary in August 2022 and cost $4.99 to unlock. It is the regular Grand Warden, but in a pixelated form where everything is much simplified. All actions are retained as well but in more rudimentary pixelated forms.
14. Champion Warden
The Champion Warden has the appearance of a fearsome individual trained in the mystic arts and wields a staff that looks somewhat like the Inferno Tower and an Orb on the other hand. He also wears full-body armour and a helmet. The Champion Warden skin was a special offer during the CoC World Championship Finals in September 2022 and cost a player $9.99 to unlock.
15. Magic Warden
The Magic Warden as of now is the last skin that was released in the game that fits the Grand Warden. The skin was released in the event of the release of Town Hall 15, the highest existing level for the building which is the heart of the village. He has a white glow all over his body and levitates with the shelf of a pair of wings. He also does not wield any offensive weapons and instead shoots bolts from his bare hands. The skin was available for $9.99.
With this, we come to an end to the complete list of all Grand Warden skins that are available in Clash of Clans. Some are without a doubt more desirable than others due to their unique effects such as those of the Magic Warden and the Summer Warden. In the coming days, there will be more skins that will come to the game, and maybe a free one, which will satisfy the tons of players who still do not have a skin of their own as of yet.
